Description

Whether you are retaining your stock suspension or upgrading to a performance suspension, there’s no sense in keeping the original Ford steering system which is full of lost motion. That’s why Ford switched to rack and pinion for the Mustang in 1974. Gateway Performance Suspension’s power rack and pinion is designed to bolt up to the stock mounting locations with no cutting, welding, or removal of the lower crossmember. This Rack is designed to work in conjunction with your factory power steering pump or late model power steering pumps, including the adjustable KRC pump.
